Ok, it was solved. I spoke with the Handspring TS and tried reinstalling the SW. The first time, no change but I realized that I was getting a question about using 3rd party conduits. Since I didn't want to lost AvanteGo or the AnyDay desktop I had said keep them. However when that didn't work I reinstalled again and tried restore conduits and it fixed it, although it's no longer syncing to AnyDay (harmony.) It seems that AnyDay/Harmony might have messed up the Address conduit.
