I know this has been an issue before but will Handspring honor rebates for PDA's-i.e. Visor Platinum purchased below the retail price. Staples is offering a $40 off coupon on purchases $299, including the Plat.

I purchased a VDx for less than the standard retail price when Handspring was offering the $50 rebate. I called Handspring when I heard rumors about them not honoring rebates for Visors purchased for less than standard retail. The customer service rep said that initially they were not, but that they changed their policy and they would now honor them. You may want to check just to be sure, but I think they will honor your rebate.
