Question

Has anyone used a second Visor on one computer/cradle? Do any changes need to be made in the hotsync program ahead of time, or when the first hot-sync is attempted will the system automatically identify the new Visor and prompt for a second user name and preferences? The manual says only that the two Visors should have separate user names--but does not say how to create the second one.

The first time you synch a visor, it allows you to create the user name. If the visor has already been synched and you want to see the user name, you can go to the hotsynch app on the visor, and user name will be in hte upper right corner.

My husband just bought his Visor Solo, and it works fine with my cradle. I added user by going to "User" window & choosing "Edit User" from pulldown menu on Palm Desktop. You can create a second user ahead of time & choose the user when you hotsync for the first time. After that, your computer will recognize each Visor automatically for hot sync, and Palm Desktop will let you chose a user when you click apps to install.
