Question

I'm using the Address Book Plus that came with the unit. I have many contacts where several persons are with the same firm. I would like to list them all seperately, but can't find a way for the program to do repeating entries. I have tried the "select all", cut & paste, but that only works with one line at a time. Is this program capable of repeating entries? If so, how do you do it? Thanks.

Sorry, I meant DateBook Plus. Got a little mixed up there. The DateBook, of course, has nothing to do with my problem here.

As for "making a bunch of entries with the same company name", I think you're missing my point. That's exactly the task I'm trying to automate. Most good PIMS have that feature. I don't relish having to reenter the same addresses, company names, phone numbers, etc. for many members of the same law firm, for example.

The best solution is to buck-up and get ActionNames. It's a FANTASTIC $20 PIM that integrates all your PIM functions. Plus, the contact list includes a "duplicate" item for just the function you need. One of the great things about it, too, is that it doesn't create it's own database files, but uses those on your Visor, so you are not duplicating information and wasting space. Plus, change the info in one and it's available in the "native" programs should you want to use them.

This is a followup to my orignial question about an address replicator. I stumbled upon a great little program on Palmgear called "SuperDuper" that did exactly what I wanted. Cost $5. Very reasonable for the time I've saved using it.

For those of you who are syncing to Yahoo!, you can use the Duplicate Contact button there.

Try a shareware called Address+ (no kidding!). It allows you to duplicate entries (then change name/ext, etc). Also allows 4 sort methods, and group editing (such as category change by check box in list).
