Question

I've had my 2meg visor for a while, and
noticed that the app manager info menu displays 1792K. I expected to see 2048K. What does your Visor display? Is mine screwed up?

Thumbs up

Thanks,

From the discussion above, it seems that 256k are taken up by the Visor.

2048k - 1792k = 8192 - 7396k = 256k

Makes me feel better.

That 'missing' 256K is the memory in which applications run. If it weren't there, the Visor wouldn't be able to do anything.

Question

Well here's a related question.

Why does a Palm III only take up ~100K? My girlfriends Palm III has 1920K or so free, but the Visor takes more?

Any idea why?
