Hi Al,

You may have heard of DDS (Dead Digitizer Syndrome), but I think I have discovered the PDS (Paralized Digitizer Syndrome)

This morning my screen started to act funny. It seems lik only the left part work. mmm, no that's not right, it seems like whereever you click it thinks it is on the far left side of the screen.

I did a hard and soft reboot (even removed batteries for a while) no luck.
Now I am stuck in the init of the digitizer ('Tap center of target') and since the input will always give a location on the far left, the init is invalid and will stay in an infinite loop...

I'm afraid my digitizer is toast....
Is there anything I can to to fix it? If not, how much is it to replace a screen??

mmm, maybe this way I can justify an upgrade...
