Question To fix a VDX or not to fix a VDX????

I lost my Visor Deluxe some time ago, so I bought a Edge. I like my Edge very much!
Not to long ago I found my Deluxe again, but the LCD screen was broken!!!!!

So now I have one EDGE and a broken Deluxe.

I was thinking of what to do for the Deluxe, it has served me well and has been a loyal servant!!! So I don't just want to toss it away!!

But is it worth 85$ to get it fixed just to get it fixed!!!!
And if I get it fixed, what should or could I use it for!!

If you have any opinion on this please post!

If it is just the glass top/digitizer that is broken, you can get a used replacement for $50.00. Go out to GetHighTech and look at the options.

If it were mine, I would probably fix it, if I could so for $50.00 or less. You could always use it as test bed for new apps or as a backup PDA should something happen to your Edge.

Or, you could fix it and try to sell it. I am sure you would get $50.00 dollars for it, and help someone else.

Anything is better than throwing it away. Ship it to me before you do that.

That is the strange and bad thing!
The glass digitizer is not broken, but the LCD under it is cracked!!!!
I can actually use see 50% of the screen and the digitizer works!
