Jason, may seem like a simple question: but, I just want to clarify: If I have a fairly simple Power Point presentation -- maybe 30-40 slides, most of which are plain, bulleted words -- I can "convert" the entire presentation and "load it" onto the module? In other words, I know this sounds silly, (but there is so much made of the ability to load "Word, Excel, whatever page you want...") I haven't heard anyone say, yes, you can take a single Power Point presentation and load it, lock, stock, and barrell, into the Presenter to Go module. (Subject to memory limitations) Just need to hear those reassuring words. I appreciate the software can handle all this other stuff, but just need reassurance a simple Power Point Presentation can be loaded all at once, rather than, say one slide at a time. Thanks Probaly have more questions later, but appreciate any help with this one!

Absolutely! As I said in too many words, every "page" that would be printed to a standard printer is converted to a "slide" in the Presenter-to-Go software. Once you have your complete presentation and send it to the Hotsync queue, it's sent to the Visor's internal memory on the next Hotsync. You can leave it there or transfer to the modules internal flash memory (but that's if it is under 2 MB). You then select which presentation you want, a listing of "slides" (remember, each page will become a slide) appears on the visor and the monitor/projector will then display the first page of that presentation.

So, yes, it works on small Powerpoint presentations perfectly. Since it's SVGA output, the screen is very readable (it IS a computer monitor, after all) and your co-workers/boss/CEO/everyone will be awed by your technical savvy. Plus it's a great way to transport documents and presentations.

Now I just need more internal memory to fit my entire 700 page service manual in this!

Oh yeah, the presentation(s) are loaded all at once...

Yes, it allows you to selectively "turn off" slides on the Visor, as well as load multiple presentations into the Visor or module.

I know exactly what you mean, it does everything you are asking. do wish you could attach notes to non-powerpoint slides, tho. Anybody know if this is possible? ouldn't find the option..

Compression

It does not compress the presentations much maybe 2 to 1 max. I looked back at the presentation I put on the flash module and that was about the extent of the compression.
