Just wondering why there are so many words misspelled in peoples posts when there is a spell check button right there? Please use it and we won't think you are not smart enough to spell or use the button. (I use it every time, and it helps me learn too

Sorry! I'm one of the most notorious missspellers on VC.

The reason I don't use it, even though I need it so much, is on my dialup line, it takes WAY to long to do this. I try to look over my posts sometimes, and remove simple errors, but I think even ih the spellcheck buttun, untill I get an ActiveX(egg!) scrpit, to spellcheck for me, or a nifty program that spellchecks everything I write, you will all have to listen to me!! MUAHAHHAHAHA!!

Sorry I didn't think of that. The cable connection has spoiled me. How about a dictionary?

Arrow

Some web browsers like Omniweb have automatic checking as you're typing in a form. Very handy for chronic misspellers.

I thought you were gone for the week, James. You can't leave, can you? The first step is admitting you have a problem. We're here for you, buddy.

miradu if speed is an issue, try using your email or word processor's spell checker, (with email create a new message, cut n paste the text, spell check it, cut n paste back) - I often use this trick when the VC spell checker is out to lunch..

Geez. It's one thing to ignore the spell checker when posting any other post. But to make spelling mistakes on a thread critsizing spelling mistakes. . .tsk, tsk, tsk .
