Question Can Palm Desktop (with Notepad) and a Visor play nice?

I've got a VPL which I've happily been using with Handspring's version of Palm Desktop 4.0.1. However, it looks like in the very near future my fiancee will be acquiring a Palm m105, which I know includes Palm's Notepad application.

My question is if/how the Palm will be able to use the Notepad application (and its related conduit or Palm Desktop functionality) and still be able to coexist with the Visor. I believe I'd read somewhere on VC that the version of Palm Desktop with Notepad doesn't work well with Visors. On the other hand, my VPL didn't like Palm's hotsync software too much, so I'd assume that I need to make sure I can use Handspring's hotsync.

Anyone successfully using a Palm with the Notepad application together with a Visor on the same PC? If so, how did you get that to work, given that Visors tend to like Handspring's hotsync manager much better than Palm's?

Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks.

Jeff
