Low batteries and HotSync problems

Hi.

Is it possible that low batteries (i.e. less than 100%) can cause the HotSync to stop working (I get the dreaded "connection lost" message).

I was HotSyncing fine after not using my Deluxe for a year or so, and then one day later - it stopped.

Could batteries be the problem?

Simon

Anything's possible, but unless they're really low, I'd doubt they were the problem. You can try the following:

A fresh set of batteries couldn't hurt.

Clean the contacts on the cradle and the Visor itself. You'd be surprised how little dirt and grime is needed to muck up a good connection.

If that doesn't do it, try a soft reset. That cures many hotsync woes (though nobody really knows why ).
