Question

To make my visor experience complete would be an ethernet Springboard module. I need a module that has the ability to login to an NT/2000 network (TPC/IP) to transfer files back and forth.

I am a field service engineer for a software company in the television automation field. I am constantly required to drag my laptop back and forth from the hotel to the TV station to plugin to our private network transferring *.ini files and upgrades. I want to stop dragging a bulky latop around.

Am I the only person in the world that wants a module like this? Is there not a market? No, probably not a huge one but I'm sure that a company would love to invest for their field reps a product that would greatly streamline the field process.

Help! If there is anyone with knowledge of such a product under development let me know.

No, you're not the only person that wants one.

Search the forum for "wired ethernet". It has been discussed at least once before.
