Unhappy Treo, not for me, yet

I like the Treo (Communicator/Organizer) size, and design, except the keyboard. My chief complaint, like many others have posted, is the lack of an improved screen. Look at the resolution of the Sony Clie, as well as the pocket PC. We see where things are going. Why Doesn't Handspring?

Also, they could have made the Springboard modules optional with a setup similar to the Visor Edge, where you attach a Springboard receptacle when you need it. To leave all of us users with no forward option in terms of our module hardware was disappointing, and disrespectful.

The built-in keyboard was Unnecessary, as several companies produce and market attachable "thumb" keyboards that work fine. I have a Prism and have both a Thumb keyboard, as well as a portable, larger form factor, portable keyboard www.landware.com that I use most often. It works beautifully, is comfortable to work with for long or short documents. If I'm on the road and only need to respond to email I have the small light weight thumb keyboard to attach in a second.
