What is this?
In certain Apps that use gray colors, there is some black gray - flickering (only in the gray colors), which kind annoys me. This happens p.e in DragonBane or MahJongg, but not in AvantGo or ImageViewer. Is this streaking? I am completely new to Palms.
I read something in Trinitron's thread about NoStreak hacks. I tried them both. They partly reduced the flicker, but lowered the contrast.
Is there anything other I can do?

NoStreak worked with setting 2, but as soon as I enabled the grayscale mode it started to freak again, but with nice contrast!

PLEASE HELP! PLEEEAASE!

I use NoStreak hack, usually set to 2 and "enable in grayscale mode" turned on. But as you said, in some apps the flicker is pretty annoying. I've found that if I set NoStreak to 0 the flicker goes away, but I have to turn up the contrast, and get streaking in other apps. So, I use setting 0 for apps with the flicker problem, and setting 2 for everything else. Kind of a pain, but it's the best solution I've found.

And no, flicker and streaking are not the same. You will probably see the streaking problem in the NoStreak settings screen when you set it to 0. Do you see "shadows" of lines extending beyond the little grid? That's streaking.
