Avatar Question

I just changed my avatar yesterday ... I liked it when I posted it but now it seems way too orange, like it should be lighter.

Opinions? Am I off my rocker? Does it look like pumpkin color to anyone else?

There's a nice Halloween orange color in backgroud of the PalmSpirit website.
Maybe you should use it instead of your "too red" orange.

Edited : well, actually it's in the background of the forum on the above mentionned site

I like your icon. I don't see anything wrong with it. It's not a biting Ostrich, but hey, you can't be perfect.

Looks good to me Yorick! But then, your Avatars are usually pretty good.

Looks fine to me. I don't think the color is really off. I'm just envious of your abilty to change your avatar at will and add all the little nuances that we've come to expect from you.

What about me? I make my avatars too, although mine seem to take alot longer to make than that whippersnapper Yorick! He seems to be able to spit 'em out at will, mine take years to develop! (My wife does most of the work )
I like your orange, around here we get alot of variety in the colors of our pumpkins, don't fret.

but, yours are photos, where mine are painstakingly created pixel by pixel on a wire frame schematic diagram form dtaing back to the ancient Sumerian culutre ...

ah, who'm I kidding. I draw 'em on my visor and color em with GraphicConverter.

doesn't matter anymore, but I was going to animate a candle inside to run on Oct 31 .. never got around to the work tho. maybe next year.

Methinks Yorick only wanted a quick answer to his question and clearly we embarassed him with our compliments.

(Bobbymike, yours is nice too!)
