Unhappy Springboard no longer recognised

My son has a Visor DL, and of late the springboard slot does not recognise any springboards. He's tried all manner of resets, including a hard reset, but to no avail.

Anybody have any ideas on this??

Have you looked at the pins in the springboard slot?

If some of them get bent you would be unable to use the springboard slot.

Another thing to check is to open the case and see if any of the pins have gotten pulled away from the motherboard.

If that is the case, you could probably resolder them...

If neither of these work, then it is probably a hardware defect in the motherboard.

Let us know how you make out.

p.s. I have a couple extra deluxe motherboards which I could sell if you needed one.
