Since Scripture with NASB95 takes over 1.5MB, it makes you REALLY glad that you've got 8MB to play with!

Thumbs up

I'm a Pharmacist, in charge of the Pharmacy part of the computer system at a pair of hospitals and 3 large clinics. (Yes, a unique practice environment.) I've been evangelizing (sorry, pastors the Palm OS for nearly 2 years, ever since I bought my Palm III. When I ordered my green VDx, my wife commented that it wouldn't be as professional as one in graphite. My thoughts were several:

1. So what. I like green.
2. They'll know it's a deluxe (as already pointed out).
3. It'll draw attention to itself and help me to spread the word about the usefulness of a PDA, especially Palm OS devices.
4. It's honest. One of the big features of the Palm devices *is* the number of games available. If a VDx in a color makes it look a little like a Gameboy, well, so be it.
5. So what. I like green.

Now if Handspring could just find my order in the 10/6 blackhole, I'd be happy.

Sorry about the extra wait! It does seem to be getting better for the later orders. However, in your case you may not get it without any grease if you know what I mean. did I say that right? Anyway you are so right about the colors. I say pick what you want and set yourself free!!!!(*)

Cool

Yes, sometimes I have to meet with people from other companies.

Yes, I ordered green.

No, I am not ashamed.

Because I am part of the new internet economy.

I'm a RE Appraiser who meets:
1)public -buyers/sellers
2)lenders
3)agents/brokers

I ordered Orange. My thoughts were that I lose things and the Orange would be easier to spot. A lost visor is worse than a paper weight. As for proffesional appearences, I use more leading / bleeding edge equipment and software than my clients and I make sure they know it. The Visor is just one more tool. Look at the construction trade, most of the proffessional carpenters in my part of the country use Dewalt power tools - bright yellow, or Milwaukee - red, Makita - light blue. The homeowner lines are typically black or gray.

I got green like the post before I like green. I don't think it will be problem. BTW for those waiting it is worth the wait I ordered on 10-2 and rec on 11-16 fedex only 1 or 2 days beyond 6 weeks. I am curious! Is all the packaging green for the CD etc or did handspring color code the packaging as well?
