It might be the long way to go about it, but what I would do is unistall Avantgo, Mobilelink, and libmal from your Visor, unistall the Avantgo client on your desktop, remove the Avantgo file and Avantgo database as well as the mobilelink and libmal from your backup folder on Palm desktop and then try reinstalling your client and hotsync your Visor (I might also try doing a hard reset of my visor before hotsyncing it). Then see what happens. HTH.
