Question Poll: Handspring\Palm or PocketPC iPAQ?

As a long time VDx user since Visors began to sell in retail stores (Staples), I have come to a challenge. Continue with HS or go to the dark side and get a new 32 or 64MB iPAQ PocketPC.

I have no springboards and other than the GPS & networking modules, most springboards don't appeal to me either because of too high of price, not fully functional or no interest. I would like to run VPN with a Xircom Wireless LAN springport but Movian VPN requires PalmOS 3.5 and HS units are not flash upgradable from the VDx 3.1...:-(

At work, friends have a mix of PDAs from PalmV, VII, HS VDx, Prism to Compaq iPAQs. The ones enjoying connectivity to the corporate LAN are the iPAQs who use their notebook PCMCIA ethernet, WLAN or modem cards to connect...something we cant do or must get PalmOS3.5 to support it. Secondly the iPAQs have a mini MS Office suite which has a much better Outlook\Exchange client than what can be found with PalmOS and inherently support Excel and Word which requires separate add on app for us Palm folks.

So, bottom line is this. If you were to do over or do again, would you stick with the HS or go to the dark side and get an iPAQ?
