I am the person that wrote the article for the SixPack. I received an update from Innogear about the cell capability. I don't know about the cables, but I will try to find out.

James,

I'm kinda interested to see how the cell phone attachment will work. For laptops, I've only seen attachments to analog cell phones. I haven't seen a cable to run in digital mode - CDMA/TDMA. I have a StarTAC CDMA phone from Sprint. I believe if I had the TDMA version, I would be able to get a cable to attach to the StarTAC and run analog mode.

Having a CDMA only phone, I hope the 6 pack can run in Digital. It'll be interesting since it would allow me via a cell phone to have internet access on my visor....

we'll see... let us know what u find out...

thanks,
-gene

Unhappy

Too bad one of the most popular phones being sold, the Nokia 6160, doesn't support data...

After I posted that, I went to find where I got that from. I could not find my source email or in any documentation that I have. I will try to get more info on the cell modem capabilities and update the SixPak preview.
