I have not yet gotten my e-mail conformation, and am beginning to get worried. I ordered my Visor Delux on 9.24.99 , I would have thought i would have gotten it by now. I'm at school, and I think i'm going to call when I get home.

If you have gotten you e-mail, what day did you order on? I'm am curious, so maybe i can get a feel for when I will be getting mine.

I really want it so I can order the extra stylus.

I placed my order on 9/14. I haven't received a confirmation yet but I'm waiting patiently...should be any day now...

I've heard several reports (and this was just confirmed again by a guy and Internet World - read the topic "Internet World" on this forum) that those of us who ordered ours early, or at least on the 14th, may actually receive our Visors before we get the email confirmation. Otherwise, says the guy at Internet World, you should see your confirmation in the next two weeks.

From Handspring's handy-dandy Customer Support area that allows you to email text directly from the website, I requested my order confirmation number so that I could use their online order-tracking system that's in place. I got an email 2 hours later from Fiona, it reads, "Order confirmations will be e-mailed 2-3 weeks from the day that you place your
order."

So, considering the fact that I placed a 9/16 order, Fiona or somebody better have me my number by tomorrow.

For all I know they lost my order. Every time I've called they can't even find a record of me in their database.

They say that I shouldn't be alarmed at that prospect. It could mean that they sent my order(which I made on the 14th)out to the warehouse with all the other pre-orders. But I have serious doubts. My last hope is that, by some act of god, I do actually recieve one of these mythological order confirmations.

I may as well be waiting for the Hubble Space Telescope to fall out of the sky and land on my truck!

Foxer, you can order your styli now. I already placed an order for the 5-pack and the slim leather carrying case and received an email confirmation of that order. When you go to place your order, you make up your own password/username. Unfortunately, it does not have a record of my Visor order but i'm sure it will pop up soon after I get my email confirmation.

Here is a thought...if the CS wrote the orders by hand then they probably hard mailed the order forms to Handspring for input. Gee, maybe we will get our units before we get the email..


Everybody Chill!!!!! We are wasting time everytime someone calls to check on their order. Hawkins and Dubinsky haven't left the country or anything serious. I guarantee you anybody that monitors this forum will state when they gotten either an email or a package.

The point of wanting my order conformation number was so that I could order the stylus, and not have to pay the 8.50 in shipping. I would much rather have them just shipped in the same box as my visor.

But, I guess if it comes down to it, I will pay the 8.50 in shipping.

You are right in trying to save a buck or two by combining freight. However, many paranoid soon to be Visor owners were calling multiple times attempting to check order status before the web site came up this morning. If I were you, I'd email a note to Handspring and provide your order number on the stylus and say hey...I don't think I should pay twice. Then come back here and post the response ...if you get one before you get your Visor.

Not to brag, much, but I recieved my order confirmation. I ordered online today though. One Visor Deluxe with an additional Serial cradle and a custom case.

As an interesting aside, the e-mail confirmation indicated that the line items on my order may ship separatly (at no additional shipping costs to me.) With my luck I will get the custom case. Then three days later the Cradle. Then about a week after that the actual Visor.

That would tend to annoy me!
