Is it possible for hotsync to do automatic syncs say, during the middle of the night if I leave the VDX in the cradle? I'd love to get up in the morning, grab my visor and already have avantgo channels updated...

Thanks,

Harry

I, too, would be very interested in perforing an automatic hotsynch. I've poked around with 'Scheduled Tasks' in 98, but I can't seem to find a program to execute that actually initializes the hotsynch. it seems to me that the only way to do so is push the button on the cradle. hope someone can help.

Cool

IrLink V1.5 for Visor release candidate 1 has the 'Delayed HotSync' feature which should be named 'AutoSync'. You can perform unattended HotSync via cradle or IR, to local, modem or network. It has an 'Experimental Feature' within the program. You can use Datebook to schedule AutoSync as easy as put your appointments. If anyone like to preview this soon to be released software, please email to [email protected]. Or you will able to download the trial version by the next few days.

I haven't personally experienced this problem, but I have read where leaving your visor/palm in the cradle will drain the batteries, even when you visor is off. Just a consideration.
