It will run both apps and databases. You just have to move the databases from the module to the Visor's ram before modifying it. If you are simply accessing/reading it, there is no problem with having the database on the module. You can even move it, modify it, and then move it back, if need be.

And finally do you have to use one of those file movers to put the PRC there after installing to the main memory?
Anything you want moved/copied from the Visor to the module, or back, has to be done in the file mover program that comes with the module. The program is already on the module and is accessable anytime you have the module in. I also like to use this program to see what databases go with which programs, and to delete databases that are sometimes left on my visor after the program using them has been deleted.
You can run a program from the module who's databases are on the module or in the visor, and you can run a program on the visor who's databases are on the module. The only real restriction that makes this different than the internal ram (except for a possible few unique programs) is the inability to modify databases that are on the module.

I love having the module. I have several programs loaded on it, along with several books, and even two Bibles (the program and all the databases for both). I've never had any trouble with it. The only issue I have heard of is people having soem serious problems when they only had a couple of megs of memory left on it. I'm sure you can find several dis. about this on the board. I've never filled it to the limit, and have never had any problems.

None that I have encountered.

I don't notice any difference. Also, you might want to look into a program offered by CardAccess, the people who put out the Thinmodem and Thinmodem+. I haven't looked into it, but I believe it may give you teh ability to load/unload files straight to the card, and maybe even back it up. I'll let you look into that one. Hope this helps.
