Unhappy No more Dave Design enclosures

Sorry if this has been noted elsewhere, but it seems that Dave Design has gotten out of the enclosures business. Granted, I always thought they were a little pricey for me (although the reduced price that was there until recently was a bit more tempting), but it's sad to see that they aren't making them anymore. It was nice to know that the option was there.

Of course, I only noticed this because my trusted Platinum has developed a crack near the power button and I was curious if there had been any further price drops by Dave. Now I need to figure out what the next move will be. Neo, Pro, some variety of Clie, maybe a Palm, or even to wait for the mythical color Edge/Prism II that may or may not ever materialize? (Treo isn't really an option for me, as I'm currently with AT&T and have too good a deal to give up for the foreseeable future). As long as the crack doesn't worsen, I'm in no rush, but I guess I should start keeping a better eye on my PDA options. And maybe I'll put some more effort into the search for a real case for the Platinum instead of the flipcover...

GetHighTech.com

You should keep an eye here - they buy up parts from broken PDA's. You could either sell them yours when you upgrade or buy a replacement shell for yours. I got an old graphite shell and love it (after having been through a fancy silver one from another company).

Here's the other company that makes shells - these are brand new, but only for the front of the Visor. Even though they're in Hong Kong, they've been incredibly responsive, ship quickly, and put out a good product:
