Waiting for technology?

I do not see any sense in waiting for a particular company to make something that I want, and how I want it. The name of the game is competition. Handspring seems to be going in another direction. Those combo units are going to be the death of them.
My PDA is very important to me. I actually depend on it. As far as I am concerned, the company that has what I want, when I want it, and at a price I am willing to pay, is the company that gets my business.
I am going to purchase the Sony T615C. It works perfectly, and it's beautiful.
I am not going to "wait" for Handspring or Handera or any other company.

if you think Handspring, Handera or any other company can produce a handheld you want or better, write what you just posted to all the companies and force them to listen. ask them to forward this to their manager, or to a CEO....let them know how you feel and maybe...just MAYBE...we will see new handhelds come out. I dont believe handspring is watching this board carefully for what we want in the new handhelds, i think they take what they want and put it in. Maybe if we wrote them and got them to listen, they might produce something great.
Same goes for every other Palm OS manufacturer.

Good point. Maybe we should start a new Thread to accomplish this goal. After about a week, VisorCentral sends the results to Handspring? Or, each and every one of us Copy/Paste those things we agree on and send it ourselves. It might be enough to convince the powers that be at Handspring that exiting the "traditional" organizer business when it's the "ONLY THING THEY ARE SELLING TODAY" is not exactly, Erm... Smart.

My own Personal Opinion, stop reading here if you can care less...

I really hate to see all of this happening, I once believe Handspring would wind up buying out Palm someday. This will never happen now, they are well on their way of destroying their business relations with Springboard manufacturers and apparently dropping Visor Customers in the not so distant future. These are bad business decisions this early in the game. They haven't proven themselves to the market with the TREO... Until they do that, they are becoming too arrogant about their next generation product. Arrogance doesn't typically sell too many devices.

In the Avatar, she is playing some tunes on the SoundsGood MP3 player. It's amazing how fast kids can learn if you give them a chance. Now if I could just keep her from making those long distance calls on my VisorPhone...
