There are a number of conversion paths, but they depend on whether you just have the Acrobat Reader or the full Acrobat product. However, without the full Acrobat you are rather limited.
Easiest is to use pdf2doc (freeware plugin for the full Acrobat). http://www.zorglub.com/pilot/pdf2doc/pdf2doc.html. Not to sure how well it works with TealDoc though.
Or use BCL's free web service to convert the PDFs into a more useful form, RTF, HTML etc. http://www.gohtm.com, which can then be transformed to a doc format.
Or print to postscript and use a ps2html conversion engine.
Or use Acrobat Reader's text selection capabilities and painstakingly cut-n-paste and use something like txt2pdbdoc.
May be worth looking at http://www.planetpdf.com and http://www.pdfzone.com for other options.
