Is it possible to change IMEI code on VisorPhone ?.

I live outside US. In my country cost of Visor phone is 3 times of in US. GSM operator here will not allow to use unlisted IMEI with their SIM. If I order VisorPhone from US and modify IMEI to be the same as my existing mobile phone will help save cost a lot.
So, are there any way to change IMEI on Visor phone ?.

IMEIs are burned into the phone

I don't think so - certainly not legally - it is the way that the GSM providers police their network to ensure no one is stealing service.

Most people I know with VisorPhone have had no problem with traveling overseas and roaming on 900MHz networks. What country are you in?
