Just wondering what cases other Stowaway + VDX users might recommend.

I've just recently purchased the Targus Universal PDA/Stowaway Combo case and am not overly enthused about it. IMO, the zippered pocket for the keyboard is a little t-o-o snug, and I'm not all that wild about afixing velcro to the back of the VDX itself.

Saw a mention of the Targus Leather Mini Notebook case and that sounds intriguing, but the pics at the Targus site make it hard to believe one could actually fit both the keyboard and VDX inside it. I've buzzed thru some of the various Stowaway related discussions here on the board and couldn't find any mention of this one.

I guess when push comes to shove, I'd really like something in which I could store the keyboard, VDX, cell phone, a couple springboards, pager, pen, and a couple extra batteries.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Thumbs up

My spouse had the Targus Universal PDA/Stowaway combo case too but she decided to give it to me (because it has a built-in rail for my Palm Vx). The combo case works quite well if I have a bag I could put it in but usually I carry my Vx in a VAJA case and my keyboard in a Levenger napa case (check out http://www.levenger.com).

The Targus Mini-notebook case (for her Toshiba Libretto)is my spouse's current carrier (for her Visor, Stowaway, cellphone, 4 batteries, and 8mb module--her backup module she leaves at home). Call Targus and ask specifically for the model that fits the Libretto.

I hope these help.

The Targus Stowaway/Handheld case is too bulky for me, but you can affix the velcro to the Visor cover that came with you unit and avoid velcro on the unit itself.

Stowaway+VDX=Which Case?

Thanks guys. That's exactly the info I was looking for!

Hadn't thought of attaching the velcro to the original visor cover.

But that Libretto version of the Targus Mini Notebook case sounds like 'the cat's meow' (as Dad used to say )for me.

Also appreciate the mention of levenger.com. I'd not heard of them before and for a keyboard specific case, that one looks attractive.

If you are looking for a case that carries both, I recommend the Rhinoskin 3000 for a stowaway/visor combo. It's got room for a couple of springboards too.

I also have the Levenger stowaway case, and it's nice. Matches my EB Slipper for my prism perfectly.
