Hey all,

I'm about to foray into the land of the Visor Prism while selling off my OVDx...its both a time of excitement and a time of reflection

Anyway...

I was looking to get into the keyboard market, and I decided on the GoType Pro, because the smaller keys didnt bother me, and that seemed like the only knock on it over the stowaway, other than the size, which is no problem to me either.

So getting to the point, what I'm asking is, will the Prism work with the GoType PRo, and just not allow the prism to recharge when connected through the USB port? or will it not work at all? I've seen examples of hacks used to recharge while in the GoType Pro cradle, but i didnt know if it wouldn't be functional outside of the USB port.

ooh, too many double negatives...

any input or info is appreciated...

I can't find any info about converting a GoType keyboard to work with a Prism on that page. Can you verify the link for me?

Try this one.

In essence, the conversion involves cutting a hole in the docking-cradle portion of the GoType. This allows the back of the Prism to fit. All of the acutal connectors are the same between the Prism and the other Visors, just the form factor is different.
