I guess in the end, the answer is up to you. I am of the mindset that you don't store the backups with the machine, so that is where I am coming from.
PS: How's married life treating you?! 
I use BackupAll so that will take care of the PC backup issue's. I mainly have the backupmodule for traveling...
Maybe I should get another backup module, just in case this one gets stolen with the unit...
Married life is pretty good (hey, I'm still 'allowed' to buy my gadgets so I'm not complaining )
