Wink

After seeing the new palm m505, it's easier for me to decide to keep my nice prism. There are nearly nothing improved on m505. Not any design improvements. And if you want to use that crap modem, m505 will become bulkier. While there are so many modems available to visors. Second, m505's screen is not suprising. And palm continues to use those cheap dirty paint on the graffti area! Simply poor.

Springboard is a very clever idea. It gives us unlimited expandability. And prism is still one of the fastest color device out there. I love it.

I don't understand. What do you mean by "cheap dirty paint?" Can you provide a picture?

Lightbulb

As Palm IIIc and other palm products. They paint the icons and circle the graffti area using white paint. Handspring's graffti icons are not paited, they are printed under scree. Don't you notice?

I agree, I dont see any new improvements in the m505. THe only reason I would buy it when I already have a prism is the form factor, side lighting and thats it. Until the Palm OS companies churn something out that actually is new I think I'm going to hold off. I mean the form factors (square brick or slim brick) of 90% of pds have been the same for the last 4 years. Screen size (but clarity has) hasn't improved dramatically and the user interface is the same.

I'd like something with a good form factor but extremely functional. Even improving handwriting recognition would be something worth buying into or a better way to input data.

Something new please Palm!
