Treo discrimination?

Is there some kind of discrimination going on. VisorPhone people are being offered a discount upgrade on the UK site to the colour TREO, but monochrome TREO users like myself will have to pay the full whack for our early adoption mistake. The screen on the 180 has been a big let down - why I still use my PRISM.
Shame that Handspring won't enter into any dialogue on their own website. I'm torn between the 270 and the Blackberry.
