daffy would definately beat donald. think about it, there are a lot more looney tunes episodes that have been edited because they were 'not appropriate' for today's children (like we grew up badly because we watched them!) than disney cartoons. hence, daffy was definately up to some no good stuff...which means he's developed the important skill of 'street fighting' that donald, frankly, has never even seen!
don't let me get started on drunken brawling...
my vote goes to daffy, anyday (and twice on fridays!)

Donald wear a navy suit, but was he REALLY in the navy? Anybody can wear a navy suite i.e.(or is it e.g.? ) The Village People 
Daffy can take a shot gun blast point-blank in the face, sure he looses a bill and feathers, but he's ok in the next minute. Can Donald do that?
Howard the Duck? Wasn't he's only claim to fame was being in a Speilburg (sp?) movie? Movie kinda suck if I remember correctly.

Yeah, but Donald did get his butt whooped by a couple of chipmunks. Several times, as a matter of fact. Daffy, on the other hand, has given Elmer a run for his money. I'll lay odds on Daffy anyday!!! I think we see a theme for the next CartoonNetwork Big Game. Palm M505's to the winner! (to keep it on topic

Foo, man, I can't believe that you're PDA-less. It must be tough going without a palm/handspring for so long. I know I couldn't do it, hope you're not suffering from withdrawnal 
. I will be. I'll be carrying around my calculator, pulling it out and punching some of the buttons. Kinda sad just to think about it

Unfortunately, I won't be getting it soon. I have an order placed from Palm's online store, and Staples.com. Just a few minutes ago I called Staples to ask the status on my order (I only called them because my status says that it has already shipped! I knew that was too good to be true). The saleswoman that I spoke to was very friendly and detailed with the information she gave me, which didn't paint a pretty picture. She was quoting an internal company memo that she received just a few days ago, stating the availability for the M500 would be May 1. And the M505 would be available on May 22.
I'm going to have to start exploring my options now. There isn't a chance in hell I can hold out until May 22. I don't want to buy a PDA then turn around and sell it in 30 days. That would be pointless.

Who said that? Come closer, I can't see you very good, my vision seems to be deteriorating from PDA withdrawal.

Hey Foo, looks like the Clie 700 will be out before the m505. I've heard reports of May 1 . Maybe it's a good thing that your m505 was delayed. Man o man, palm is going to be hurting more with the Clie 700 in US markets .

i'm alittle confused. i don't keep track of your life (or anyone elses except my own) but i remember about 6 or 8 months ago having a heated discussion with you and you were (at the time) defending the Pocket PPC and all it's advantages w.r.t MP3 and multimedia. you even had a PPC at the time and started your own palmfactory site (which was very pro PPC in my eyes...but that's my opinion). Then the Edge was rumoured to be coming out and you began talking about how great it was and you even were probably the first to post that you had one (i may be wrong on this..again, i don't keep detailed accounts, i'm just re-iterating from vague memory).
there was even a time back when i think it was you who had the Clie.
now you've got 2 orders for the M505 and you're saying that you're PDA-less??? What's up? fill me in??
just a little confused by the fact that you don't have a single PDA after all this history? i guess there's always EBay, but would you have sold off everything?!?!

Ah, the good old days!
I gave up on PocketPCs a long time ago. They have many impressive technical advantages over Palms (mainly high-res color displays, and digital media support), but I just can't get Palms out of my blood. I love the Palm platform, both software and hardware, and that is where I expect to remain. Who knows.

I loved the Edge, and I still may go back to one and bypass the M505 altogether. I'm sure Palm will have production issues with this new model from the start! And yes, I was the very first to recieve an Edge here. Not that it will win any brownie points for me.

The Clie was ok, I LOVED the backlight, but the Memory Stick expansion slot was completely usesless. You couldn't run apps or databases off the stick, they had to be copied over to RAM.

I sent the Edge back because many (and I mean MANY) people here were experiencing serious problems with their units. That being the case, I decided to get out while I was ahead. Now I wish I had just kept the damn thing. I have two on order merely to see who ships the M505 first. Palm or Staples? We'll see.

That's right. I never keep my previous PDAs, that would be a huge loss! As soon I buy a new one, my old device goes right on eBay. You'd be surprised how much money you can recover with auction selling. On average, I get around 75% back on my investment. Not bad.
