Question

I bought a HS case when I ordered my VDX. Now my VDX case is breaking at the top where the top part of the holder grabs the VDX. Anyone else having this problem??

Hmmm... haven't had that issue -- perhaps you're being a bit heavy-handed when grab the release to detach the Visor -- you really only need to ease it back ever so slightly... Anyway, Handspring Customer Service will send a free replacement.

Question

Free replacement? Maybe I wasn't clear, but this is part of the VDX casing, not the cover or springboard filler piece. Repair would require opening the VDX to swap the part.

Thumbs down

You didn't mention the color of your Visor, but I know that many other users (especially Ice ones) have had the problem with cracking cases where the cover hooks on.

Oh, I thought you were talking about the hard plastic screen cover. Well anyway, as was said above, Handspring will replace your unit.

I do wonder if there's any significant difference between the composition/durability of the clear plastics vs. the graphite... Any chemical engineers out there care to educate me (succinctly)?
