Better price on Memplugs?

Does anyone know of a place where I can currently buy a Memplug for less than $50? Neither Staples or CompUSA have them on sale, I know Staples at one time was selling them for $29 but I think that was a one time deal.
Maybe an online source? And bricks and mortar would be fine, also, although I live on the East coast and therefore Fry's is out.
Thanks.

CompUSA had the Smartmedia version for $39.99. Just make sure you get a serial number.

Memplug pricing and Pitech's Customer No-Service

Thanks, picked one up at CompUSA, but can't get it to work. Inserted a SmartMedia card that I've been using with my camera, and nothing comes up on the screen. Repeated emails to pitech have been unanswered so far. Is their Customer No-Service always this unresponsive?
Thanks again for the info, I may just end up taking the Memplug back to CompUSA and either exchanging it or, if I continue to get no response from pitech's so-called support center, I may get the HS Backup module instead.

join the Memplug Yahoo group. Lots of people there that can probably help you with your problem.

You might be encountering a formatting issue with the card. The Memplug utilities use a FAT (not FAT32) format to access the card. That's just my guess.

I joined the Memplug group on Yahoo and posted the problem about having no serial number sticker. I got an email from a Pitech CS person and my problem was fixed in about 5 hours.
