Arrow Web site

There is no mention of the Prism on their web site. Hmmm.

Arrow

I got an email from them that they would be shipping me a Prism case, so it should be available RSN.

My new Rhodiana Prism case just arrived in the mail! Ordered on Monday, arrived in Florida on Friday with their standard shipping ... pretty good service if you ask me

The two most notable changes from my old Rhodiana VDX case (aside from the slighty larger size) are:

- Stylus holder on the right side of the case ... no more trying to fish the stylus out with my fingernail.

- Cut out for the hotsync connector. It still can't hotsync in the cradle but one could use a hotsync cable and sync without removing from the case. And what's more important, a travel charger or homemade battery extender can be connected without removing from the case.

Fit and finish are the same high quality that I've come to expect from Rhodiana. If you're looking for a good belt clip case for your Prism and you like the high-tech look of ballistic nylon, you cannot go wrong with this case

Got mine on Friday

Ordered it last Monday, got it this past Friday. Every bit as good and easy to use as the Visor Deluxe case I had previously. Great fit/finish.

Only modification I've made is to add some sticky backed felt to the inside cover and removed the lexan stiffener.

The cover, if hit decent, will turn on the Visor via the hardware buttons. StayOffHack doesn't work on OS 3.5 apparently. This cuts down on the accidental powerons for sure!

If you want a nice case, period, the Rhodiana is the best one I've found so far.

Wink PowerONs

With a rechargeable battery, who cares about accidental power ons?

I have a question. How is the Rhodiana Prism case if one were using the wireless modules (Minstrel S and Visorphone)?

I'll be upgrading my unit shortly, and my current Incipio Ocean Armadillo zipper case won't work with the Prism (it uses the snap cover to secure the Visor), and it definitely won't work with any over-sized Springboards.

I like the idea of the Rhodiana case, and I'm glad to see that they're now offering a Prism case, but I was wondering if one could use that with a wireless module inside, which I DO plan on getting as well. One of the reviews I read on the standard Rhodiana case said that it didn't work well with modules larger than the slot itself.

Thanks for any info.

Arrow Will not work

Do not think that oversize modules like the wireless ones will work with the Rhodiana case.

I'm thinking about getting a Rhodiana case, but I have only a Visor Platinum, and I've read about the cons of the original Rhodiana, no in-case syncing, and the small stylus port. Will the Platinum fit in this new Rhodiana Prism case? Thanks

Nelson

Any pictures for the new case? Or is it exactly looking same as in pictures shown http://www.rhodiana.com/products/palm/palm.html ?

..pretty expensive case with swivel clip :-(

It's my understanding that the improvements to the Prism case (hotsync port access and stylus holder) are also on the standard Visor case (which will fit the Platinum perfectly).

Those pics don't show the stylus holder or the hotsync port, but other than that the new case looks the same. The Rhodiana case is expensive, but it holds up very well and offers a lot of protection and a lot of convenience.

Smile Rhodiana web site change; check it now...

Rhodiana redesigned their page, and all their new products are listed there! Check it out at http://www.rhodiana.com/products/pda/pda.html (or just go to http://www.rhodiana.com, the whole site looks pretty good).
