Look for the answer tomorrow. It has, moved. I will let Visorcentral announce where.

I noticed the Treo discussion was removed too. My guess is it will be moved to treocentral.com - which our visorcentral friends have reserved.

Treo discussions can now be found at TreoCentral.

I'll give a shot for a more detailed explanation...

Currently, VisorCentral is going through the process of setting up our sister site, TreoCentral.com. Both sites will share news, reviews, and other items, but each will focus on a different topic (treo, visor), and thus will have slightly different content.

There will be two boards, and if you are already a member of VisorCentral, your a member of TreoCentral. The Treo specific chats are kept on the Treo boards, the Visor specific chats are kept on the Visor boards. Software and Off Topic are shared between both - ie if oyu post on treocentral.com in Off Topic, it will be displayed on VisorCentral.com also. This is to enhance the feeling of community, and make thigns eaiser for the peopel who track both forums.

Clicking "View new posts" will show news posts from all forums - both Treo and Visor for you power users.

Hopefully this week the rest of TreoCentral will be finished - make usre to check back!

Arrow Hmmm

We should be able to switch between the two boards easily. Right now I have tp type in www.treocentral.com to enter the site and discussion forums....very annoying!

One question.....why? Treo is a Handspring product and as should be covered by VisorCentral. Why didn't we see a www.visorphonecentral.com? Just seems confusing. Oh well...

Arrow Different

The Treo is an entire new product. People have been saying that for weeks. This si why there is a Treocentral. he VisorPhone is one of a few dozen modules for the Visor -- not a new product by itself. Notice that the the Treo Communicator is not called the Visor Treo.

Another thing is thatthe Treo is a compeltly different Market than the Visor. We want to be able to cater to another market more effectivily and more directly.

I dislike this a great deal. One of the things I like best about my VC visits is the ability to click once on view new posts and have all the latest discussion at my fingertips. Now, apparently, I have to do it twice AND keep track of which forums are on both sites.

Keep it all in once place. Call it VisTreoCentral or somesuch.

Nix most of my previous complaint, Clicking View New Posts seems to bring up the Treo threads as well (if the "I posted first!" threads are any indication...)..

...Still and all, I'm not so sure I like this split idea.. poll time.... I guess I should start a new thread in Off Topic, since that is one of the threads that appears on both sites, right?

Sigh.. already I'm confused...
