What does this all mean?
1. More affordable modules for the visor
2. You can easily add just the features you want
3. They come in graphite and ice...talk about forward thinking
4. Shows innogears confidence in Handspring and the visor.... shows the visor is here to stay.

When you say enhanced beaming, does this mean that IR network hot syncs will be possible on the Visor at long last?

IR hot syncing is already possible using 3rd party software: IRLink for www.iscomplete.com
I use it and it works great!
My guess is enhanced beaming would be more powerful IR circuitry in order to use programs like OmniRemote (a universal remote app for Palm) from "normal" distances (i.e. 20+ ft.).

I'm seriously considering buying one of these. The 2 megs of flash memory is a nice touch, but my main reason for wanting one is the vibrating alarm. I hate being in a theater and hearing pagers/cell phones/other alarms go off. My pager and cell phone both have silent vibrating alarms, and I think it would be really handy if my visor had one too.

No. No. No. IR NETWORK hot syncing. As in direct network connection via IR to a IR-to-ethernet adapter (e.g. Clarinet Systems' EthIR LAN). This is one of the things we Visor owners miss out on by not having Palm OS v3.3 . . . I keep hoping that Handspring will release a patch that addresses this issue, but there is no joy to this point.

I would also love to buy the new vibrating module, and I could use the extra 2 Megs to back up my most important data in the Flash Rom.
But the int'l FedEx charge is almost more expensive than the actual module. I guess I will have to wait until Innogear finds distribution partners in Europe or starts selling their modules in retail stores...

I'll take a wild guess and say that the up coming InnoPak's will basically disect the SixPack into individual modules so that people can buy only the one feature (plus 2MB) the desire.
The Internet Connectivity InnoPak will probably be 2. One will have a wireline modem and 2MB and the other will have a Cell phone modem and 2MB. Then there will be a voice recording + 2MB InnoPak.
I like this approach. Hopefully, they offer the SixPack in both colours...for those of us going for the whole shabang.
