Lightbulb

I am very interested in purchasing a replacement case for my Prism. Perhaps something in the brushed aluminum look like my Samsung phone (which hides scratches very well), clear like the transparent cases for the Deluxe so I could paint the inside myself, or a metallic blue like the one that comes with the Prism but baked-in color, not painted on.

I know there are some people out there who build replacement cases for the Palm units but I have yet to find any for the Handspring Prism models.

If anyone can find a manufacturer looking to make some money, I am sure there are plenty of people here who would be willing to replace the less-than-perfect case provided by Handspring.

If you know anyone who has the ability to make Prism cases, let them know people want and need replacements made. I am sure they could show us that cases can be made of quality materials that dont crack for no apparent reason or loose their lustrous paint job.

Would you be willing to buy a replacement case for your Visor Prism or Platinum if it were higher quality than the Handspring one?

YES, I'd be the first in line. The paint rubbing off on my Prism is really bothering me.

I contacted Dave Designs a few months ago. The response is that they are looking into making cases with no official word on Prism cases yet. :/
