Help! How can I get my Visor Deluxe to sync with Windows XP? The directions on the Handspring web site are not clear to me. Has anyone been successful? How?

No problems synching a Prism and Win XP using USB. The Palm Desktop is the same for Deluxe and Prism. What problems are you having? What OS were you previously using and did you do an upgrade to XP?

I too am having problems. I just did a new install of XP and installed the new palm desktop from Handspring and I get no response when I try and hotsync. I have tried Soft Reset and Rebooting to no avail.

Make sure the appropriate hotsync (Local USB, Local Serial) is enabled in the HotSync manager. Also, verify that everything is configured properly under the HotSync Setup.

I just installed XP tonight. It told me to remove the handspring desktop software before installing XP. I have not tried to reinstall yet, but wish me luck.

Everything appears to be set right in hotsync manager.
