Isn't this a Prism marriage waiting to happen? A small CD-player-sized DVD unit with a serial link extension ala the Stowaway, such that the DVD would sit flat and the Prism would sit aboard a tiny cradle arm (or smaller Stowaway-like attachment) behind?

Most DVDs are widescreen, the screen size doesn't have enough resolution/size.

It would be cool, however, to have a TV tuner springboard.

Here's what happened... I was on a cross-country flight and was demonstrating to my seat mate a Tealmovie (YF-22/SR-71) clip. The Prism was attached to the Stowaway. Meanwhile, across the isle, another individual had settled in watching a DVD movie. One thought led to another. I had recalled a previous flight in which movies appeared on a small screen in the headrest. The quality was not that great. In fact, I replayed the Tealmovie and let it play while sitting back. It looked great, far better than Erin Brockovich appeared on an earlier flight. So, connection made: Why not build a portable DVD player -- 'bout the size of a portable CD player -- with a connector and support for the Prism? I'm remembering that Tealmovies are not 16-bit? Still looked great running there in the tray table. Just a thought.

I think its a great thought... But I think that the TV tuner would have to be the first thing to come out...

but if a DVD player would come out I would be first inline to get mine...

I suppose it isn't that bad...

When Palm OS 5 comes out with higher resolution and software graffiti area (So you could turn it sideways for widescreen) I could see it happening.
