Just got a laptop with an IR port and I am interested in Syncing wirelessly. This would be a great way to offload eyeModule images while on the road.

I see, in the Hotsync software on the Prism, an option for IR to a PC/Handheld. Where I am having a problem is on the HotSync Manager desktop software. I can't seem to find an option for IR support.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

If you're using a Windows laptop, Your IR setup in control panel will allow you to specify a serial and parallel port for your IR transfers. Check it or set it and then tell your hot sync manager to ust the same serial port you just specified. That should do the trick. (Sorry if it's a Mac. ' don't do Macs)

BTW, IR syncing is slow and it's murder on batteries. Esp. if you are doing a lot of data.
