Unhappy

I had outlook express long before I had a Visor. The option that I need to check or uncheck in the outlook program is unavailable for checking. It's tha MAPI or IMAP option.

Do I have to reinstall Outlook Express? If so, which folders of data do I need to move so I don't loose everything?

I beleive what it is asking you to do in that step is set Outlook Express up as the default mail client for Windows, you can easily do this by going to the internet options section of the "tools" menu in IE (Or through the control panel), click on the tab "programs" and make sure Outlook Express is set as the default mail client.

That should be it.

That part is setup correctly. What I an unable to do is set Outlook Express to my default MAPI program because I cannot check that box. It's greyed out. That box is in the outlook express options menu.

Unhappy Having the same problem

I'm having the same problem. I use Outlook for Contacts, Calendar and Tasks, but I use Outlook Express for E-Mail. When I hotsync it looks at Outlook's E-Mail, even though in the setup I told it to look at Outlook Express. I've heard you have to have some additional software to make this work, but I've not been able to find out what that is. If anyone knows what or how to do this, please let me know.

Unhappy

I have Outlook Express set up as my default email client. My problem is that when modem synching the conduit appears to look at OE and says Mail OK in the log at the end of the synch but there is no mail in my inbox on my Visor Deluxe. I am able to send email from my handheld via the modem synch but it never retrieves the new mail.
Does OE have to be running and using my identity when I modem synch? The default on the handheld for Mail is Synchronize and that's what is selected. Any suggestions?
