Question

I ran across http://www.goamerica.net the other day and was excited about this service. Unlimited wireless data for only $60/month. They already have a modem available for the Palm III. Does anyone know of a Springboard being developed that will work with this service?

I think $60 is crazy for any service. I get DSL service for $40.

Talking

I think $50 - $60 a month is insane when you're talking about a PDA! DSL service I can see, but even that is coming down in price. When I think of the amount of time I would use a wireless Visor and then compare that to how much I use my home connection, I become baffled by spending all that money on wireless access. Especially when you can get a dial up connection for $13 a month, and the wireless connection wouldn't offer data rates above 56k, if even that high. I realize that the fact it is wireless is what makes it so expensive. All I am saying is that until the price comes way down I will not be getting a wireless internet service. It would be great, but it certainly isn't worth the money.
