I can either buy the PDA SURVIVAL KIT
for $26....

Or I can buy a package of WRITERIGHTS
for the PALM V at $19.95.

I'd rather do the latter, but is the
PALM V and VISOR screen the same size?

Unhappy

the screen on the visor is the same size as the Palm III, IIIx and IIIe

Palm V WriteRights will not fit the Visor.

Make certain you buy the PDA survival kit for the Palm III not the PALM V

If you buy direct from ConceptKitchen...you can get the PDA Survival Kit with all 12 WR's in the size of your choice.

If you buy from a third party...you'll get four each for the Palm III series, Palm V, and Windows CE. You can then send back the ones that don't fit. Supposedly they include a mailer...my package did not. So I e-mailed them...and they sent me 12 more Palm III WR's...plus two additional Karma Cloths...and a prepaid envelope to mail back the CE and V WR's. Quite the deal...but the Pen Cap Stylus pack is useless....

Concept Kitchen direct is a complete rip off. They charge like $47 for the survival kit. I ordered from outpost. It should arrive today. It did not ask which PDA I own so I hope it fits the Visor.

Lightbulb

I use Keep-a-Memory self-adhesive laminate sheets ($3 for a life time supply at Walmart). Save yourself about $25 this way. See my posting else where on this board (Topic:__ Cheap Alternatives to Screen Clean/WriteRights??? ) for tricks on how I apply it.
