I'm a long time owner of the original Rhinoskin Ti case. First, I used it with a PalmPilot Pro, then my Palm III. I have a Visor deluxe on order, and I was wondering if anyone here who managed to get a Visor tried to put it in the Ti case.

I'd hate to buy a new Ti case from Rhinoskin, but they make such great products that I'd probably do it anyways.

You can find the exact dimensions of the visor at www.handspring.com. You should compare them to the palm pilot you already have. I think the visor is a little bit thicker then the palm's

Hi Perlow,

I wrote to RhinoSkin back in September to ask your very question. Unfortunately, the Visor is too tall and will not fit in the original ti case. RhinoSkin is making a new slider case for the Visor, but I'm not sure when it's going to be released.

This is disappointing news, I'm sure. Once my unit arrives, I'm going to try to stuff it into my ti case anyway, just to see if I can get it in there.

I've considered other case options, but the RhinoSkin is just hands-down unbeatable, as I'm sure you'll agree. Any other case simply cannot offer the same kind of assurance. I've dropped that case more times than I'm willing to admit, from heights that would send any other case/palm combo to the cleaners, and the case scratched only once. Nevermind even worrying about the Palm unit--that's a no-brainer.

Keep checking with the RhinoSkin website, or contact RhinoSkin directly. I'm sure you'll see some news shortly on their website though.

Chris

Rhinoskin is planning to introduce a Ti slider case for the Visor in a few weeks time. I understand that it will be slightly longer than their Palm III slider case and that it will not have a port that will permit "beaming/receiving" with the visor still in the case.

Oh well. There goes another 99 bucks!

I guess I am gonna have to give up the Ti case to a friend or someone who wants to pick it up cheap!
