I've found that most of my problems with the 8mb module were solved by disabling the TrekSounds Hack in Hackmaster.

I also had trouble with Image(now Fire)Viewer on the module, but nothing else of note. ISilo and anything without a settings/preferences DB run fine.

Peanut Reader works fine with the large ebook files in the FM. I leave the small ebook file and the application itself in main memory. By leaving PR in main memory, I can still access one or more ebooks that I leave in main memory when I remove the FM.

TealDoc does not work well with the FM.

PEANUT READER: Ditto to Yuccas comments on Peanut Reader. Works great on the 8mb Flash Module. [Ive found that you need to have those little 1K files for each book (plus a 1K file called state) in the internal memory. Peanut Reader requires a name and password to unlock each book the 1st time you read them. These little files must retain that info, because if you move them to the SB, the application will ask you for that info again, then create another copy of them on the Visor.]

"DOCUMENTS TO GO" also works (with just a little tweaking) See the loooong post I put under Trouble Shooting.

re: iSilo

You can create three kinds of named bookmarks. Assuming that you leave iSilo itself in main memory, Local Bookmarks can be created for a document that is in the Flash Memory Module; but you can not do this with Document or Global Bookmarks. You can use any existing bookmark, regardless of where you keep the file. Also, you can create an unnamed bookmark if the file is in the FMM.

I'm not sure if this is directly applicable to the flash RAM springboard module, but there is a flash-compatability list here:
http://www.asynccomputing.com/flashram/index.htm

...for use with FlashPRO and JackFlash, two apps that let you copy apps/dbs into Flash on Palm devices.
