Angry I lost my Prism :(

I know this is useless, but might as well give it a shot!

I lost my Prism with the SoundsGood MP3 player, and my stowaway keyboard today at the Los Angeles Westin Bonaventure. Over $600 worth of stuff....shoulda looked into the insurance for it.

Anyways, if anyone on this board happens to work there, would you please contact me to see if there's anyway for me to find it.

if you do, please contact me @ [email protected] thanks!

guess i'll have to wait until the treo comes out !?!

actually i did talk to the security/lost & found. I even left a report.

I was there again today, no luck, no one was nice enough to turn it in. But if it was me who found something like that.....i think i might have kept it also, i mean it's the WHOLE SHH-BANG.

anyways... <sigh>

I'm so sorry to hear that! I'd just DIE. Hopefully it was all password protected so nobody can get into your personal info.

When you get a new one, get the insurance. I got mine thru PDAsLost or Stolen, and it's $4.99 a month, but well worth it.

I hope some honest soul finds it & returns it to you.

Good luck

Barb

Sorry to hear about your loss... hopefully, some honest person will find and return it (did you hear about the dishwasher who found a bag of money that fell off of a security truck and returned it? Had about $400k inside... true story!)

Anyway, I know how upset I'd be to lose my Visor.

(This is one reason I really like small PDA's, like the Vx, m500 or Edge. You can just stick it immediatly back into your pocket, and almost not notice it's even there.

sometime last summer i lost my visor about $300 in stuff. i put it on our piano to get the pizza. came back and it was gone. vamoosh! the only person i suspected was my evil sister. because as i came back i saw her walking to here room. i was a breakdown the next weeks. and since i have at least 2 alarms go off each day i would have the whole family go into each room to listen for it. no luck. later my dad some how convinced me that i accidently through it in the trash. so we went out and dug through the trash. no luck, i even had stick my head in there to listen for it. but i was still thinking my sister took it. good thing i had pdabomb. it locks every 2 hours. i even snuck into her room to look for it. my dad and i tore the living room apart looking for it. i started threatning her. day after day after day i kept saying "you took it" and she said "no i didnt". finally a couple of weeks later i went to target and bouht another one. it was the cheapy but all i could afford at the time. and since i didnt have the 16mb modual i didnt have enought room to restore my apps. then 2 days after i bought that my lost visor showed up in the mail box. i was sooo happy.then a couple months passed. my sister and mee got into a big fight with her stupid snooty fat ugly friends. they always bothter me for no reason they call me names and pretend they will turn the computer off with no warning. they did do that about 10 times everytime i was doing something important. i just cant believe she thinks she can boss me around since im 2 years older than her. well anyways that when she admits she was the one that hide my organizer and put it in the mail box. and since i somehow lost the recipt(i think it was my sister again) i cant return the new visor. and since no one wants to buy it i am forced to give it to a friend on his birthday. which i later found out he smokes and hes only 14. so i try not to play with him without hurting his feelings. but i cant believe i had to give a $130 present to someone. i was saving up for a better handheld but im going to have to wait till christmass for the extra money now. i cant believe that. an evil sister, $130 down the drain, and a friend who now smokes. i dont know if i should tell the police or his parents.

PDA's have major problems to be encountered. Drop them or lose them. I think a solid belt clip help a little with both of those problems.

I've never had a problem with my visor being 'lost' or stolen,
probably because I'm completely paranoid.

(Of course 'they' already know this since they have my room bugged,
and have been watching me for quite some time. :-)
