Hi All,
Have anyone try using any CASL programs on the Handspring Visor? What are some pros and cons?

Byron,

I am using CASL on my Visor. I really like it. Some pros are that you can do some fairly sophisticated things with it in a short amount of time. It is great for knocking out quick apps. Some cons are the need for a runtime (although you can do without it if you buy the Casl Pro option. This compiles to actual machine code using C code generation). Also, there is no current support for bitmaps. However, that is supposed to be added in the very near future. All in all, I rate this product very highly if you want to program, but don't want to learn C. Actually, if you know a little bit of C, you can extend it with some C code as well. Hope this helps!

I have it on my Visor but have no clue what it does. It came with a prog called J-Moons. It shows you the positions of the 4 large moons orbiting Jupiter.
