????? I wish it had a reset pin, but all in all I find it much more comfortable.

I have mixed feelings about it...

I find that I end up holding it almost at the top end instead of near the bottom, like a pen or pencil.

It also seems to be tarnishing where I hold it - maybe I'm too corrosive or something

and I agree that it ought to have a reset pin in it

It's actually a very nice stylus. Feels good in the hand, etc. I agree that a reset pin would be nice, but what it really needs is a bright colored tip. The black tip disappears against the screen. I have been thinking about drilling out the original tip and altering an orange one from PDA Panache to fit.

On second thought, maybe I'll buy an extra stylus before I try this.

Nope!

I agree with you - the stylus on the Visor Edge feels great. It's a top notch design.

I like everything about the Edge, including the stylus. I'm also looking forward to 3rd party styli that fit in the Edge, I'm betting that there should be a good stylus/pen combo soon.

Actually, I just bought a Tornado pen/stylus made by Retro51. It comes in three colors, Metallic Silver, Metallic Blue, and Metallic Red. (hmm.....) They look great. The stylus point is good, sharp, and yellow. It's about 4.5 inches tall, weighted well... perfect. If it had a clip that fit in the silo, it would be more than perfect!

Edge Stylus Pro/Con

PRO: I love the weight of the stylus and the way it connects to the Edge - very attractive design

CON: The bevelled end of the metal barrel; I'm always afraid of holding the stylus upside down and bumping the metal into the screen. Also, I agree that a different colored tip would help.

As for the tarnishing, I know I have alot of sulphur in my perspiration (aagh! Too much info!); I turn silver rings etc. to black. That may be why some are seeing the stylus discoloring. I suspect it will do so with time anyway...
